    Brown the paneer in oil in a large skillet, turning gently, 5 minutes. Transfer to a plate.

    Cook onion in the skillet until soft, 6 minutes. Add garlic, ginger, and garam masala for 30 seconds.

    Blend the spinach with 1 cup water until mostly smooth. Add to the skillet and simmer for 8 minutes.

    Stir in cream and paneer, then simmer gently for 3 minutes. Serve with rice.
